Attention Capsules

1 min read

A capsule is like an attentional boundary. It combines the temporal with the semantic:

  1. What you are/were attending to
  2. For how long
  3. What you switched to afterward
  4. The capsule you switched from to kick off the present one

It’s awkward to work with as-is, unfortunately. Use middle-mouse to “step into” a node, except in the super-view when you have to use “enter”. Brilliant! Create a node or two while you’re in there and step in again.

Aftter stepping in a few times, hit “enter” to enter the dimensional zone. From there, you can either select a previous capsule and “enter” back into it, or else pop into timeline view to see the capsules in more of a lateral view.
